The problem
Planning a mehndi, baraat or walima meant calling a dozen vendors, waiting for photos on WhatsApp and comparing prices that were never quoted the same way. Vendors, in turn, had no place to show their work and take bookings.
What we built
We built a marketplace with three sides. Customers browse packages with photos, prices, services and reviews, filter by catering, decor, food, photography and more, save favourites and book. Vendors get a storefront, a dashboard for packages, bookings and reviews, and chat with customers.
An admin panel manages stores, packages, promotions, users and CaterStation's own curated packages. It runs on Next.js with Supabase for the database, sign-in (email or Google), file storage and real-time chat.
